Three CBs may be OK of at least one of them is a bit of ball player but ours are not. Also their strength is in the air and may not collectively be the best at players running at them at speed with quick inter-passing. Better to cut off supply in the midfield.

I'd rather see us match up like for like against Man United.

I believe they're playing a diamond midfield at the moment? (I could be wrong I didn't see their game yesterday) I think if we had just Noble, Song and Downing in there the extra man in the midfield may get too much space and hurt us.

If we go like for like, limit their options attack-wise, we could do well because we will get chances against their ropey defence
